Quality Process

Our transparent approach allows you to have online access to the QA system and track the quality status of the project throughout the software development cycle.

Intelsys has a closely-knit QA Department comprising of over 10 engineers that function independently of the development teams. There are documented procedures defined by the QA Department in place, these processes are strictly adhered to at all times. The bug tracking processes along with the project status updates are accessible to all our customers over the net at all times.

The Quality Assurance process has been modeled on the SEI-CMM Level 3 guidelines for allowing continuous improvement of processes and delivery of defect free software.

At Intelsys, we have evolved following ways to test prototypes against the specified requirements. We have implemented 8 stage testing model that allows to test your product on various levels.

Outsourcing Software Quality Process

Test lab facility

  • Consists of up to 15 machines, with various operating systems
  • Utilized by various projects in any possible way
  • Several Linux boxes, all Windows operating systems and a few Macintosh machines are also used
  • High and low end machines are both used to rate performance levels of the products under development

QA Expertise/ Collective Efforts:

  • Our closely knit QA department operates independently from the engineering team
  • Well-established processes and protocols are in place. These have been defined by the QA Department and strictly adhered to at all times
  • We hold periodic project related technical seminars to continually enhance everyone's skill sets. In turn better productivity is achieved in their respective projects

Brainstorming sessions:

These sessions may or may not involve the entire QA department. Various issues are talked about for a specific project and different test cases are identified to upgrade the test case repository.

Bug Bashes

  • Usually conducted in a lively and interactive atmosphere
  • Involves the entire QA staff
  • Demo of the product is given to all members
  • All QA team members are asked to test the product

Defect Tracker

  • We have a web based defect tracker provided by Seapine and Rational Software Corporations
  • Enables clients to be abreast of the latest developments in their respective projects
